Honors Chemistry II Period 9 Semester 2

Course Description
 1/2 credit - 1 period per day 5 days a week - Half Year Course
The focus is on the application of scientific concepts through traditional classroom instruction, laboratory demonstrations and selected laboratory experiments that can be safely accomplished in one class period.  The course is designed to provide the student with basic knowledge in the following concepts:  Chemical Formulas and Chemical Compounds, Chemical Equations and Reactions, Stoichiometry, Physical Characteristics of Gases, Molecular Composition of Gases, Liquids and Solids, Solutions, Acids and Bases, and Acid-Base Titrations and pH.
