Pre-Algebra

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

Pre-Algebra explores an in-depth look at pre-algebraic and algebraic concepts that will provide a solid foundation for Algebra I.  In particular, the instructional program in this course provides the use of algebraic skills in a wide range of problem-solving situations.  This course reinforces students in a concrete method of thinking and will transition students to thinking in the abstract.  Topics will include a precursor view to Operations with Real Numbers, Linear Equations, Linear Inequalities, Functions, Coordinate Geometry and Data Analysis.
