Math Concepts:
  • Group progress focused on the application of previously learned math concepts to the real world in addition to smaller groups within the class focused on instruction and progress of every student individualized to maximize each student's potential and preparation for the student's chosen next step after graduation.    
     When a student is absent:
    • Continue your individualized online program progress for 40 minutes for each missed class.  Online programs include: SAT prep/Khan Academy, WCCC placement prep/Khan Academy, workforce apprenticeship certification prep/Khan Academy
    • See Mr. Dlugos upon your return to class for directions to cover missed concepts and clarify questions.    


    Home/Out of Class Work:

    • Students can improve their grade and skill set in math by continuing their individualized progress outside of class.  This can be done through Khan Academy by clicking:
    • Once directed to the Khan Academy website the student will need to plug in the most recent or next concept covered in class to watch a video review or preview of that concept.  A brief summary can be submitted upon return to class.
