General English III

As a follow-up to General English II, this course continues to prepare students for the Keystone Exams and reading and writing within the professional work force.  Students will read, discuss, and analyze a broad range of literature, including fiction, nonfiction, and drama.  The composition segment will feature informative and argumentative writing as well as creative, independent projects.  Emphasis will be placed on mastering the rules of the English language and becoming a more thorough reader of all genres.
